Sterling Silver Triskele Necklace
One of the most ancient of Irish symbols, the triskele (or Triskelion) can be found on the kerbstones of Newgrange which date back to Neolithic times around 3200 BC. The triskele is pre-Celtic in design, dating back to before the Celts settled in Ireland, but it was incorporated into Celtic culture and frequently appears in Celtic artwork. The symbol is thought to represent continuous movement or continuously moving forward as well as protection during travel.
This solid silver triskele is a beautiful and subtle homage to ancient times. It hangs from a sterling silver 18inch curb chain measuring 13mm in diameter with a full drop of 22mm. The necklace comes complete with a gift box and card with some information about the symbol.
Use the box provided to add a gift message and make it extra special.
